Product engineer · open for freelance & contract

I turn ideas into shipped software — web, mobile and AI.

I’m Tsaqif Mukhayyar, a product engineer in Surabaya. I help founders and teams go from an idea to a product people use — scoped, built and shipped by one engineer, down to the firmware when it touches hardware.

What I can build for you.

01

Web & mobile apps

MVPs and production apps, from the first screen to deploy.

  • Product scoping & user flows
  • Web and mobile front ends
  • APIs, databases, auth, payments
  • CI/CD, hosting, monitoring

React · Next.js · Flutter · FastAPI · Hono · PostgreSQL

02

AI features

AI that does real work inside your product — measured, not just demoed.

  • Chat and search over your data
  • Plain-language analytics (NL → SQL → charts)
  • Document and data extraction
  • Computer vision on the device

LLMs · tool calling · RAG · CLIP · Python

03

Modernize & scale

Legacy apps rebuilt on a modern stack — faster, and easier to change.

  • Step-by-step rewrites, no big bang
  • Performance work (LCP −90% on a defense app)
  • Docker, CI/CD and OTA for device fleets
  • Reliability and cloud costs

Docker · GitHub Actions · Cloudflare · GCP · AWS

(02)How I workFour steps

From first call to launch.

  1. 01

    Intro call

Free, 30 minutes. We talk about the problem and the people it’s for, not the stack. You leave with a clear next step — even if it isn’t me.

  2. 02

    Plan

A short written plan: what we build first, the milestones and a price. You know what you’re getting before any code.

  3. 03

    Build

Weekly demos you can click, code in your repository from day one, and written updates so nothing waits on a meeting.

  4. 04

    Launch

Deployed to production with docs and a handover call. I stay reachable for fixes and the next version.

rekafab

Describe it. Get a board you can order.

A PCB design studio in the browser: describe a board and get the schematic, the layout and the checks a fab runs — then Gerbers, a BOM, firmware and an enclosure. Designed, built and shipped end to end.

Prices in USD, excluding third-party costs (hosting, APIs, hardware). Every project starts with a free 30-minute intro call.

(05)FAQStill unsure? Ask me

Questions people usually ask.

What kind of projects are a good fit?

New products that need to reach users fast, AI features for products already in use, and older apps that need a modern stack. If the product touches hardware — sensors, devices, radios — even better.

How do we start?

Book a free 30-minute intro call. If it’s a fit, you get a short written plan with scope, milestones and a price. Work starts when you approve it.

How does pricing work?

The prices above are starting points. Fixed-scope work gets a fixed quote after the intro call; ongoing work is billed monthly. Prices are in USD and exclude third-party costs such as hosting and APIs.

You’re in Indonesia — how does remote work go?

I work from Surabaya (UTC+7) with clients anywhere. My day overlaps with Asia and Australia, and with Europe in the afternoon. Updates are written, so nothing waits on a meeting.

Who owns the code?

You do. The code lives in your repository from day one, and everything built for you is yours once it’s paid for. Happy to sign an NDA before we talk details.

Can you also do the hardware side?

Yes. I’ve written flight firmware for CanSats and rockets, built ground stations and a 4 km radio link, and run computer vision on a Raspberry Pi. I also build rekafab, a PCB design studio in the browser.
